Our Story

In twenty-six years BC, the Huangdi mentioned in ” Huangdi Neijing “: ” treating disease with medications and supporting the efficacy with porridge.” Since ancient times, people have said such “a good medicine tastes bitter.” Many people refuse to take it because they fear the bitter taste of the medicine. The ingredients are blended and cooked, to treat and recover your body through natural foods, while preserved the colors, fragrances and tastes of the food, which suitable for all ages.

Duck Imperial is a roast duck restaurant created by three Singaporeans. Having tasted the rich taste of medicinal roast duck in childhood, it has been lingering in the heart forever. They hope to promote this delicious food and combining with culinary studies, Chinese medicine and nutrition, as well as insist on bringing delicious and nutritious taste buds to the table.

Use Taiwanese cherry duck, and unlike Hong Kong / Beijing roast duck, the meat is much sweeter. Stuffing with a variety of well-distributed Chinese herbal medicines in the duck, then place it into a pot and cook it for several hours. Slow roasting is done for one hour through a non-pervading grilling technique to make the meat tender and elastic. The whole process takes more than six hours so that it condenses the full essence and combines it with the unique aroma of medicinal herbs. The smell of herbs is dispersed from inside to outside. The whole duck is edible, and the rest of the soup is the perfect match for rice.
